Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type109-User Problem

Karel,
Type109 was replaced by Type99 with the release of Trnsys17. You can read 1-minute data using Type99. You have to set the <interval> field to 1 minute (expressed as a decimal number of hours with lots of digits: 0.016666666666666666666666 or something). You also have to specify the field to the same. You also have to make sure that your simulation time step is also less than or equal to 1 minute. I did not check whether this is possible in Type109 as Trnsys16 is no longer supported.
Kind regards,
 David

Dear TRNSYS Users,

I have a problem in my Type109-User weather data reader,

My question: Is it possible to change the <interval> value (data file time interval between consecutive lines) from 1 hour to 1 minute?

If i change this value in my external weather data file, i keep getting a 'range check error'.

I want to do this because i have inserted minute-values in the external weather file.

All help is much appreciated,
Karel Foré
