Re: [TRNSYS-users] Restaurant absorp. cooling Tess example

Martin,
Try right clicking in the project and selecting the "show layers" option from the context menu; it may be that the weather component (Type15) is on a hidden layer.

With Trnsys17 connections between the weather component and the Type56 building are not always needed; they can be made automatically and internally. Since the building knows which direction the walls and roof face, it can query the weather component directly without you having to make connections. You can of course disable the automatic connection by opening TRNBuild, going to the main project window where the orientations are defined and switching off the internal calculation for one or more orientations.
Kind regards,
 David

Hi,

I was looking at the example provided  with the Tess library about the Restaurant absorption chilling, so the simulation runs ok, but I can not find the weather block i.e. the collector and building are not connected to it -how is this possible, how does it function, can someone give me explanation?

Thank you

Best Regards
Martin
