Subject: [TRNSYS-users] fuel cell, electrolyzer, H2 tank problem
hi everyonei was going to implement a controller for controlling a hybrid pv/fc system but unfortunately when i try to write it's program i face with a mechanical issue.
i have a 400w elevtrolyzer with outlet H2 flow rate of 0.006 m^3/hr and its output pipe Cross section (cm^2) is unknown and it;s operating H2 presure is 10 bar
a 2kw fuel cell with inlet H2 flow rate of 3.4 m^3/hr that it's input pipe cross section area (cm^2) is unknow either and it;s operating H2 presure is 10barand a 10kg H2 tank that holds H2 till 10 bar pressure
should i directly link : 1-outlet flow rate of electrolyzer to inlet H2 input of H2 tank ???
2-inlet flow rate of fuel cell to outlet H2 input of H2 tankthat's my questionsincerely yoursmohammad behzadi

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Two boreholes and one heat pump installation
Dear TRNSYS users and support team,
I am dealing with a project containing a water-water heat pump and two U-tubes boreholes (Vertical ground heat exchangers).
The objective of this project is to extract energy from one of the borehole and try to store it in the other one thanks to the heat pump in order to use this energy in cold season for instance.
I would like to simulate this installation in an easy way on TRNSYS software.
In the first place, my problem is that on TRNSYS you can only have one borehole (Vertical ground heat exchanger) per project. However, in my model I would need two of these.
Therefore, I would like to know if there is any way to solve this problem or otherwise, which components of the TRNSYS library could be used to simulate the storage of energy in a borehole.
In the second place, the refrigerant of the heat pump I use is the 407C. But is seems that the attached file WWHP_Heating-Normalized.dat located in .\Tess Models\SampleCatalogData\Water-to-WaterHeatPump\Normalized only contains datas about the R134a refrigerant. I woud like to know how we can deal with other refrigerant.
Thank you very much.
Regards.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] ESP-r/TRNSYS co-simulator workshop @ eSim 2014 - Ottawa, Canada - Canada's building simulation conference - May 7-10
Dear ESP-r and TRNSYS users:
Please note that a full-day workshop on ESP-r/TRNSYS co-simulation is being hosted as part of the eSim conference on May 7 in Ottawa. The instructors are Profs. Ian Beausoleil-Morrison and Michael Kummert and it's aimed at researchers and other advanced users. Please see eSim.ca for all details and registration.
I look forward to seeing you on May 7-10 at eSim 2014 in Ottawa!
