Re: [TRNSYS-users] Using GenOpt with “objective” calculated from several decks

Tomas,
I am aware of two implementations of GenOpt and TRNSYS. One is a tutorial that talks about coupling TRNSYS and GenOpt in such a way as to be able to optimize parameters of the Type56 building. The tutorial was written for Trnsys16 but applies equally well to Trnsys17. http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/demos/index.html#GenoptType56

The other implementation of GenOpt can be found in the TESS Optimization Library which contains TRNOPT, an interface that was developed specifically for making the coupling between Trnsys and GenOpt simpler.
Kind regards
 David

Dear TRNSYS users

Did anyone use GenOpt to optimise parameters calculating the objective values from the results of several different decks? If so, I would be happy to get some help or suggestions for such a set up.

Best regards Tomas Persson
