Re: [TRNSYS-users] Tank stratification

Igor,
Type4 takes the tank volume and the height of each tank node as parameters. You'll find one "height of node-X" parameter for each node that you specify. The model calculates the tank diameter from the volume and the overall height (the sum of the node heights).

Hi to all users,

In my simulations I'm using stratified tank Type 4c but I/m not clear how does it account for the stratification when it does not require the tank dimensions - diameter and height which I think directly influence the stratification ?

Can someone give me short explanation or suggest how can I analyze the stratification in regard of geometry?

Best Regards
Igor
