Re: [TRNSYS-users] variable stradified tank model
Dear Mr. Akba,
I think that you would have to modify one of the existing components
using a Fortran compiler in order to model a stratified variable volume
tank. One complexity that you need to think about is how you will treat
the volume of the nodes as the liquid volume changes. Will the liquid
always be divided up into the same number of nodes regardless of the
total current liquid volume? Or will the number of nodes vary while the
volume of each node stays the same?
Kind regards,
David

Dear all TRNSYS user,
I want to use variable stratified tank model. When I check TRNSYS and
TESS libraries there are lumped variable vol. tank (type 39) and
several stratified tank models.
Does anyone know a variable stratified tank model or a way of
modelling large volume tank with changing volume during simulation in
TRNSYS.
Best regards,
and wish you a good year...
