[TRNSYS-users] Applying symmetric boundary conditions using Trnflow

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is requested to do a simulation for a big identical geometry. The idea isthat it is needed to model just one segment of the whole geometry, then the andapply symmetrical boundary conditions to two sides of the segments and the other two sides shall interact with the surrounding air. Attached is a simple sample indicating a geometry composed of eight zones. It is intended to apply symmetrical boundary conditions between zones (1 , 4) and zones (5,8). So the idea applied in this model was connecting zone 1 to an auxiliary air node (AN001) and connecting the same auxiliary (AN001) air node to zone 4. Also connecting zone 5 to an auxiliary air node (AN002) and connecting the auxiliary air node (AN002) to the zone 8. Please advise if this is the right way to apply a symmetric boundary conditions at that zones or not, if not please advise how to do it. please find attached the needed files.

Best Regards
