Re: [TRNSYS-users] Changing U value for a Wall

Benoît,
I don't know whether you are trying to run an automatic optimization or not but the only solution I can think of is to make a series of buildings (*.b17 files) each with a variation of the wall in it. Put in an ASSIGN statement for each one of the *.b17 files and give each its own unique logical unit number. Then define a CONSTANT for the logical unit of the *.b17 file that Type56 will use. Then you can
run a parametric study where you change the logical unit with each run.
Regards,
 David

Dear All,

I'm looking for a method or a type, that can allow to change the U value of a wall or the conductivity of a layer as an Input (not the glazing one).'

Actually, I need the mass of my wall layer and I can't put 99% of the wall as a Windows

Thanks in advance,
