Re: [TRNSYS-users] Surface temperature of an active layer in type 56a

Ahmed,
It sounds as though you have an incorrect connection in your project or as though there is a units problem (like mixing up a mass flow rate of ventilation air (kg/h) with an air change rate (airchanges/hr). Without seeing the project it is not possible to tell. I would recommend you contact your distributor for technical assistance.
Regards,
 David

Dear all,

I am trying to model a wall with an active layer in type 56_a, however every time i use an input in the user defined convective heat transfer coefficient of wall, i get a wrong results of  the surface temperature as TRNSYS prints out the ambient temperature instead of the surface temperature. if i use constant value instead of an input  this problem disappears. any idea how can I solve this problem.
your help is highly appreciated,
Thanks
