My guess is that your Type is not correctly loading the external dll that it is calling. Any issues in that loading process will trigger the Type not found error. I would recommend debugging your code running line by line and finding where the loading error is occurring.

FarahWould apreciate any help, thanks in advance.Hello,I have written a type using an external dll (FluidProp) and am having a problem in linking the type. The linking works fine until the external dll is used and external functions are called. Does anyone know where the problem is?
TRNSYS Message 105 : A TYPE was called in the TRNSYS input file but was either not linked into trndll.dll or was not found in an external dll. A dummy subroutine was called in its place. Please link the TYPE or remove it from the input file
