Dear TRNSYS users,

I am wondering how to calculate the internal energy change of the borehole heat exchangers using Type 557:

△U_borehole = Q_borehole-(Q_top+Q_side+Q_below)

Is the formula right?

Q_borehole: Average heat transfer rate

Q_top: Heat loss through top of storage

Q_side: Heat loss through side of storage

Q_below: Heat loss through bottom of storage
