Ahmed,
Either Type 997 (Horizontal Ground HX) or Type 1267 (Detailed Ground Coupling) can be used for the modeling of asphalt collectors. 1267 may be a bit more flexible depending on your layout but is a also a bit tougher to configure than 997.

Dear all,
I am planing to model an Asphalt solar collector(basically a number of pipes bared in the asphalt, acting like a reversed radiant floor ). For this purpose i need to simulate first the hear distribution in the different pavement layers, would you recommend the type 997 for this, or are their other types. more suitable for this propose? ThanksBest,
