Re: [TRNSYS-users] Inability to open simulation result in excel

Ayoola,
All of the files that TRNSYS generates during a simulation are text files with the exception of the temporary files that are generated by the online plot. What I would recommend that you do is run the simulation, then find the external file that you want to open using Windows explorer. Once you find the file, open Excel, then select "Open" from the "File" menu, then navigate to the place where you found the result file.
Regards,
 David

Hello,
I am a new TRNSYS user. I tried displaying my simulation graph in excel but i keep getting this message "The system cannot find the path specified" each time i try to open the external file in TRNSYS16. Please how do i go about this because i need to show my graph in excel in order to analyse the result better.
 Thank you.
