Re: [TRNSYS-users] How to plot energy against time?

JS,

To get the data for later use, use a plotter with file or a printer for output.
To plot time on X and energy an Y, 10 change the naming in the plotter tab 'Special Cards' and 2) connect the 'power output' of your PV-type to an equation writer ('assembly' in main menu and then 'insert new equation') and convert your power to energy (using STEP, i.e. the length of your simulation time step in hours).

Hi,

I am a new user to TRNSYS, using it to do some simulation for a Photovoltaic system. Using the online plotter, I only managed to get temperature or power against time graphs. If it is possible, could anyone tell me how I could get energy (collected by the PV modules) against time graph and how I can export data to excel or similar format instead of just graphs, to work with further?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
