Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type4a and Type56

Dear Wojciech,
Once you have created the active layer in your Type56 zone you need to specify that its inlet mass flow rate and inlet temperature are inputs to the Type56 model. You'll also need to create a new output in Type56 for the temperature of the liquid leaving the active layer (hint: it is a surface output in the corresponding zone). Once you have saved those changes in TRNBuild, exit back to the Simulation Studio, right click on the building and select "unpdate building variable list" from the context menu. You should now have the links that you need between Type4 and Type56.
Regards,
 David

Hello All,

I am trying to simulate a storage tank Type4a for domestic hot water (heated by the air-water heat pump) which is connected to the building Type56 (active layer).  I have a problem with connection of those two components especially with the return from the active layer to the tank.

Can anyone advise me  how can I create the new connections between Type4a and building in order to create proper circuit?

I will appreciate any kind of help.

Sincerely

Wojciech Malik
