Re: [TRNSYS-users] Orientation for TRNSYS 16

Dear all,

How could we define S_0_30 (its new function in TRNSYS 17) in TRNSYS 16? I mean for orientation in TRNSYS 17, S_0_90 means vertical (90°) wall with south orientation (building rotation is 0 i.e. turn is already 0), however, my question is the roof's slope is 30°, if using TRNSYS 17, we can define S_0_30. But for TRNSYS 16, how to define a roof with slope 30°?

Many thanks in advance!

No models I know of, each Liq Des system is unique so there's no standard way to model. Best bet is to do your own model using ie. 1st law conservation. Best would be Fortran, or you can use Matlab as well.

I did my MSc in this, but wasn't successful in modeling it fully;

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Glazing of windows' u-and g-value
Dear all,

I tried to create some new windows types based on my real building windows' data in TRNBuild. But I found I can't change glazing-u-and g-values, I must refer to glazing library Window Type manager said. However, I can't find the exactly identical u-(0.60) and g-value (0.52) for my windows type. Who could have some experiences for that, Please tell me in detail how to find or define the exactly identical u-(0.60) and g-value (0.52) for my windows type in TRNBuild?

Many thanks in advance!

Dear all,

I am doing the GSHPs. Could you tell me how can I test the different types of soil in TRNSYS? Should I change thermal conductivity and volumetrric heat capacity of the heat loop?

Thanks

Dear all,

I got results of Existing fluid temperature and internal energy variation. But I am confusing with the numbers I got. Can you explain how to manage it? Or is it right numbers?

Thanks
