Re: [TRNSYS-users] ready example of Ground-source heat pump

Dear Aigerim,
You will almost surely need to have access to the TESS GHP Library in order to carry out your study. If you do and if you are using Trnsys17, then look at the GHP example that is in the ..\Trnsys17\TESS Models\Examples\GHP Library\. It uses water-to-water heat pumps instead of the more common water-source heat pumps but it will give you a good idea of how to set up the ground loop. The water-source heat pump then gets connected to a ventilation type within Type56.

If you are using Trnsys16 then loop at the GHP example that is in ..\Trnsys16\Tess Models\Studio Projects\Geothermal Heat Pump Library\. This is an example of a water-source heat pump that is connected to a steady stream of constant condition air. The air is cooled based only on an on/off timer. The timer would be replaced by a thermostat model and the constant condition inlet air would be replaced by a connection from the building.

Kind regards,
 David
