Re: [TRNSYS-users] Error with Shading matrix

Hello Ewen,

thanks four your reply.

But i want a separated window because of the possibility of shading only parts of the whole window area. Maybe there is a better solution, but i dont know how…

Dear Sascha Heinze,

I think this problem is due to windows too close one from another or just too many windows. Seeing your picture i think that drawing one big window rather than around 30 very close one to another is not less accurate.

Maybe you could try to simplify your model and see if it works.

Best,

Ewen

Dear TRNusers,

i´ve get a error message when i start to generate the shading matrix.

The model is a room with windows and an integrated window-doors to see the influence of different shading types and configurations (door shaded/unshaded, window shaded/unshaded)

Maybe this problem is known already.

A screenshot of the error message and the model is attached to the email

Best regards

Sascha Heinze
