Re: [TRNSYS-users] Which angle indicates there is no mask type 64/68
Faustine,
The angle that you are asked to specify is the angle between
horizontal and the imaginary line that extends from the center of the
shaded facade to the top of the obstruction. An angle of zero would
indicate that there is no obstruction in a particular direction. An
angle of 90 would indicate that the obstruction is either infinitely
high or infinitely close to the facade.
Best,
David

Dear trnsys users,
I have problems using type 64/68, still... I dont know how to indicate there is no mask for the angle considered. I thought it was an angle of 90 degrees but my test doesnt seem to work. I tried several angles and I can't find the right one ( no effect on the radiation after the mask). do u know exactly how does this type work ? What does he read exactly ?
Thanks a lot for ur help!
Faustine
