Re: [TRNSYS-users] again type 94

Jörn,

If parameter 16 is set to a positive value between 0 and 1, then it sets tau-alpha for all angles of incidence. If parameter 16 is set to a negative number, the incidence angle modifier routine inside Type94 will be enabled and the absolute value of parameter 16 sets the magnitude of tau-alpha at a normal angle of incidence (according to the "More" button for parameter 16 of Type94).
Best,
 david

Dear all!

Is it true that par16 (tau-alpha) is only used for the thermal model to calculate the cell temperature? This is how I read the source code. If I change the parameter to e.g. 0.1 the array power is not changed (while setting par7 and 8 to zero). Isn’t there an IA dependence of the cell power?

Thank you for your help

Jörn
