Dear TRNSYS users, I have two questions about Type 56 and Studio : 1) When trying to add a type 56 to a project which already contains one, the message “The maximum number of instances(1) allowed for type 56 is already reached!”. I would like to know if there is a way to change the maximum number of instances of type 56 or not, and in the latter case which is the reason. (Element of context: Having more than one type 56 in a project would be very useful for us when dealing with complex buildings with many different zones without adjacencies. In this case, the input and output list of type 56 can become very long and not easy to manage when connecting type 56 to other types.) 2) We are planning to make a wizard to create automatically dck files. We observed that dck files can contain some graphical information for Simulation Studio, as: *$UNIT_NAME xxx *$LAYER xxx *$POSITION xpos ypos However, in order to create dck files readly usable in Simulation Studio, we would like to specify macros. Does some special statement like these ones exist in order to specify macros? If not, has someone any experience or tips in creating wizards to create input files (maybe directly tpf files?) for Simulation Studio? Thank you for your answers. Best regards, Marcello CACIOLO Direction Commerciale
