Dear All,

I ask you, if possible, about the correctness of the procedure I am using to model a multistory building. I am working in autocad redrawing all the floor using closed polyline for each zone. The goal is to construct a sort of wildcard plan, which is obtained from the intersection of all the possible zones which I can find at each floor. This approach should admit me to extrude in sketch up any possible thermal zone of the model considering it as a sum of different microvolumes, (combined in a different way for each floor)…What do you think about it.

In other words is it perhaps possible to model a zone with a splitted wall? This should mean that, for example, the ceiling of a single zone can be splitted in two part, one adjoining with a zone, for example, the other with another.…

Thank you!

Matteo
