Re: [TRNSYS-users] Run time error while using trnsys 3D

Hannes,
Unfortunately, there isn't any way to find the cause of a problem like that without running the simulation from the Fortran compiler. The error is a generic Fortran message that usually occurs when a numerical variable value is written to a character string variable that isn't big enough to contain the result. We usually write numerical values to string variables in preparation for generating an error message in the list and log files.

If you have a Fortran compiler and are comfortable with debugging your simulation by running it from the compilers, you can do so. If not, I would recommend that you send the project to your distributor so that they can have a look at it.
Best,
 david

Hi,

I'm modeling a church in the Sketchup plugin and I finally managed to get it into trnbuild without any errors and with a convex volume for detailed radiation modes.

But now when I try to simulate the model in the Simulation Studio i get the following error:

What I can I do? Any advice is greatly appreciated

Hannes
