Re: [TRNSYS-users] user17.id not correct

Dear Fred,

In my experience on rare occassions, the 'user17.id' files can become reformatted after emailing them, copying, and pasting. I suggest either contacting the primary end-user at your institution for a new 'user17.id' file or contacting your TRNSYS distributor to obtain a copy of the original file. If you place the file in a compressed (*.zip) folder before emailing, it will prevent reformatting.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] user17.id not correct

Dear trnsys users,

I have a problem using trnbuild.
Actually I have formatted my computer, and so I would like to reinstall trnsys. I have no problem with Studio but when I want to use trnbuild, a pop up says "UserID not correct !".
My user17.id is in the correct folder and it's the same file than before formatting my computer, so I don't understand.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Fred.
