Re: [TRNSYS-users] Help needed

Dear Lampros,

You may use an equation tool:
    Input 1 = Power
    signal = GT(Power,50)
-> signal equal 1 when Power Greater Than 50, signal = 0 when Power < 50
Other functions availables :
GT = Greater Than
LT = Lesser Than
GE = Greater and Equal
LE = Lesser and Equal

Dear all,

I was wondering if someone could give me a hint on how to generate a control signal based on the value of another variable.

To be more specific, I have a text file with the electric power generated by a Wind Tubine for every hour of a year, and I wand a variable to be 1 if this power is greater than 50kW and to be zero if the power is lower than 50kW.

Does anybody know whch component will do the job?

Best regards

Lampros Karalis
