Re: [TRNSYS-users] Is possible to use TRNSYS solver INSIDE one component ?

Sergio,
Components need to turn the current set of parameters and inputs into outputs. There are a few tools to help when complex solution techniques are needed: SolveDiffEq will analytically solve differential equations of a particular form. You can use the kernel's solve to solve differential equations numerically by a few different methods. There is also a kernel routine called LinearRegression that will carry out a curve fit on known data points. Beyond those tools, Types need to incorporate their own solution techniques. There are a number of components that include a newton's method or secant method iteration to generate their solution.
Best,
David

Hi to all,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use TRNSYS solver INSIDE one component, or it is necessary to get some external solver for this?
I have an equation system that I need to solve inside one component I'm making, and would be great if TRNSYS solver could be used for that.

Thanks,
and wish you all a nice Christmas :)
