Lee, No, the collector is a fixed surface based on the value of parameter 7 in Type109. Please note that in the more recent versions of TRNSYS, Type109 has been replaced by Type15. The collector model takes into account "incidence angle modifiers." That is to say that the optical properties of the collector cover change depending on the direction of the beam radiation. You therefore pass the incidence angle and the collector slope from the weather reading processing component to the solar collector component.
