Chou,It may be that Type28 is on a hidden layer in the project at which you are looking. Right click somewhere in the project and select "show layers" then select "all." I would guess that Type28 or one of the other output devices (Type24, Type25, etc) are on the layer called "outputs"
In my opinion, Type28 is a bit unnecessarily complicated. It is essentially a printer that can make some algebraic manipulations to its inputs before printing them. I find it much more straightforward to use an equation block, make the manipulations myself, then use a simpler printer such as Type25. In Trnsys 16, it is necessary to use a combination of Type24 and Type25 in order to integrate then print. In Trnsys 17, the integrating and printing can all be done by a single component (Type46).

Hi everyone, I am a beginner of TRNSYS, the question I am going to ask may be very fundamental, but I am really confused. In the example of HVAC-building provided by TRNSYS 16, no type 28 is used. But it still generate **Monthly.out. I wonder how to do that. Also I am confused about the usage of type 28. It has so many parameters to setup. Would someone give me any tips on it? Thanks!
