Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS error

Béatrice,
The error message is indicating that the energy balance across one of the walls in your Type56 (I am guessing) building is not converging. Specifically, the outside surface temperature of the wall is not coming to a stable solution. If you are using an algorithm to set the convection coefficient on the outside surface of your wall, make sure that the algorithm cannot produce a result of 0; this would indicate that there is NO convective heat transfer on the outside surface of the wall and that only the radiation matters, which is unrealistic. The second thing to try is that if you have variable convective coefficients on either the inside or the outside surface of that wall, turn them off and use constant values.
Kind regards,
 David

Hello,

I have a mistake during a simulation, an eror occured :outside temperature of 11 wall in zone 3 at time 8718 not converged.
I don't uderstand the mistake because I've two models:
One with a building and convectors and it works, another with the same buildind, convector and a wood poele ans it doesn't work
Can you help me?

Best regards
