Re: [TRNSYS-users] How to turn TRNSHELL input file to graphic mode in TRNSED

Pei,
TRNSED interprets lines in the input file that begin with the character "*"

For example, if the line begins:

*|

then TRNSED interprets that to mean that it should display a numerical value field. Please note that there is more to the syntax of a numerical value field than simply the *| at the beginning of the line. In addition to adding the *TRNSED at the top of the file and changing the file extension, you must also add the syntax that you want TRNSED to interpret and display. The TRNSHELL/TRNSED manual contains detailed information about the syntax of the various kinds of fields that you can implement.

Kind regards,
 David

Dear all,

I have a version 15 input file which I have been editing in TRNshell but would like to see the graphic interface of it in TRNSED. Can anyone direct me how to do that?

I have changed the first line to *trnsed, and saved the input file with a .trd extension but when I open it it is blank!

Regards,
Pei
