Re: [TRNSYS-users] Joining of building with absorption chiller

Mayank,
If there is no sensible or latent load showing in the Type12 output, that is probably an indication that the building never reached its cooling set point temperature. Understanding why you are not getting a cooling load is the first place to start. Once you have a cooling load then you need to use a component such as Type682 in the TESS Loads and Structures Library or an equation in your input file to impose the cooling load on a water flow. This component (or equation) will calculate the water return temperature as a function of the load, the flow rate, and the supply temperature. You'll then need to implement appropriate pipes, pumps, buffer storage tanks, and the absorption chiller model in order to meet the load (remove energy from the liquid stream to get the return temperature back to the intended supply temperature).

Good morning everyone,

I am in the starting stage of TRNSYS 16. I have made simple project using Type 45a, type 107, type 12b as single zone building with weather data type 109 and simulated it. I can’t attach cooling load of building with absorption chiller and results shows no sensible and latent load in the result.

Please guide me in this situation.

Thank you.
