Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type56

Michael,
There are two ways that you could specify the schedule.

1. if you are fairly certain that you will not want to come back and change the total number of people then you can enter the number of people in the zone as the "value" of the schedule for each time period.

2. if you may want to change the total number of people later on then you can enter the fraction of the maximum number of people in the zone as the value of the schedule (a value between 0 and 1) and then you can use the multiplier in order to set the maximum number of people. Your schedule would be:

00:00 - 06:00 - value 0.5
06:00 - 10:00 - value 0.3
10:00 - 14:00 - value 0.2
14:00 - 18:00 - value 1.0
18:00 - 24:00 - value 0.5

and the multiplier would of course be 10.

Kind regards,
 David

Dear All,
I am trying to put in hourly values for occupation for Type 56 on TRNSYS 16. I am using a new type of Schedule. the details are,
00:00 - 06:00 - 5 persons
06:00 - 10:00 - 3 persons
10:00 - 14:00 - 2 persons
14:00 - 18:00 - 10 persons
18:00 - 24:00 - 5 persons

I am having trouble specifying this. after putting the values, is the "Value" a 1 or a 0?? or is the "value" actually the number of persons at that time interval?
Also, how should i leave the Multiplication and Addition factors? someone please explain the details ?
thank you!!!
