Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type99 with trnsys3D

Dear Ewen,

Yes, there it is possible to do this. First, simply import your *.idf view the 'New TRNSYS3D Building' when you open the Simulation Studio as you normally would proceed, browse for and import the *.idf, and the *.tpf is created with the Type109. Now, right-click on the Type109 component and click 'Replace', browse for the Type99.tmf, and hit ok. You will need to reference the correct data file in the 'External Files' tab of Type99, and you should be good.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type99 with trnsys3D

Dear all,
I use trnsys3D for my simulation and I wonder if it is possible to use Type99 (User Weather data reader) instead of Type 109 TMY2 while openning an .idf file in Simulation Studio?
It would be interesting to keep all orientations of the building automatically linked.

Thanks for your help,

Ewen Raballand
