Henk,
  I think you are using the special card correctly. There was a bug in the Trnsys16 kernel that caused this error. Please let us know who your local TRNSYS distributor is and we will be in touch with them about whether we can get you an updated Trnsys16 kernel. The error is fixed in Trnsys17.
