Re: [TRNSYS-users] "Doors" in Trnsys3D

Hello,

Yes, this will cause an error with the plugin. If you desire to have windows close to the edge, you will have to use the tape measure tool to create a point that is very, very close to the base surface. This point will be the vertice for the window. Please refer to page 9 in the TRNSYS3D Tutorial.

TRNSYS3D cannot implement "Doors" as of right now.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] "Doors" in Trnsys3D

Hi,

I encountered a problem when creating my windows with the Trnsys3D plugin.

For some windows, I made them start from the "bottom" of the wall. Then, I noticed they were not imported in TRNBuild.
So I checked them again in SketchUp and realized they were not considered as windows, but as "doors".

What role do these "doors" play ?

Thanks
