Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS 3D

Hello David,

It also contains the coordinate information for all of the vertices, volume calcuations, it can match adjacent walls, implement shading objects/devices, and calculate the angles of the sloped surfaces. After I read the tutorial and implemented a few buildings with TRNSYS3D, I absolutely love this new feature for TRNSYS 17 (in addition to rotating graphics and having "Edit All" blocks of equations in the Simulation Studio). Make sure to read the Trnsys3D tutorial first.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS 3D
Hi everyone,
I installed the TRNSYS 17 demo version in order to get familiar with Google SketchUp plugin for the TRNSYS , TRNSYS3D.
Am I wrong if I say that with TRNSYS3D you can easily input the i! nformation in the geometric model of the building through a graphical interface that allows you to see a 3D perspective of the building you are entering?
I don't understand exactly how this interface is made beacause I observed that there are no substantial differences in the way I have to enter the geometric data in TRNBuild of version 16 and 17.
Can someone give me som! e help?
Thank in advance.
Best regards.
