[TRNSYS-users] infiltration rate



Dear all,


I want to compare the test room infiltration rate of actual measurement with by TRNSYS simulation. Maybe as you know, in the TRNFlow manual: there it is explained that "As soon as TRNFLOW is turned on, (...) in the simulation the defined infiltrations, ventilations and couplings will be replaced with the calculated air flows."
I defined CO2% as 1000 ppm in TRNFlow, then I want to observe CO2%'s reducing curve when infiltration rate is 0.5276 1/h (I measured the value in the test room), so I defined the infiltration rate as 0.5276 1/h in TRNBUILD. But when I used TRNFLOW, the defined infiltration rate as 0.5276 1/h in TRNBUILD was replaced. And 1000 ppm keeps constant.

Please tell me  how to get  the infiltration rate curve using TRNSYS/TRNFLOW or how to explain this ?

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Problems with calling EES (Type66a)
Dear TRNSYS users,
 
When simulating an applied thermal system, I'm using EES for the hydronic part. I programmed the hydronic circuit in EES and coupled it with TRNSYS via Type 66a. This coupling works fine, but;
 
The problem is that the simulation runs very slow. Every timestep that TRNSYS calls EES, the EES project is opened and closed. Is there a way to set some settings so EES isen't closed and reopened each time, this would minimize the solution time alot.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] wall definition
Dear all,
when entering data in Trnbuild I have to describe the walls of the zone: if, looking at the plant of the building, the building has more than a wall south oriented for example (wall to the left in the plant) I should enter in Trnbuild each section of wall facing south or I should enter a unique wall that is the sum of all sections of wall facing south?
