Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 74 CPC Collector parameters

Title: E-Mail-Text

Dear David,

you can find the characteristics of a typical CPC in Renewable Energy Focus Handbook,  and some good examples to calculate the overall loss coefficient of CPCs in Book solar engineering of thermal processes by Duffie-Beckman and Principles of solar Engineering by Goswami.

You could get more information from the manufacturer directly or from collector test centers. That ist what I am trying know :)

I would share any new information in future.

Shahrdad

Dear Shahrdad,
I would be interested in learning about this as well. If you find anything out could you possibly share it with the TRNSYS group? I have some experimental data for low concentration ratio CPCs which I'd like to model.

Dear Shahrdad,There is more detail about these collectors in the classic text by Duffie and Beckman, which includes an example as well. Otherwise, you can try to contact the manufacturer and see if they have any insight.Best regards,Matt Duffy  ----- Original Message -----From: "Shahrdad JavidRad" >;shahrdad@live.de
