Re: [TRNSYS-users] Surface radiation model in TYPE 56

Kuniaki,
Type56 takes the total and beam solar radiation values as inputs. This allows you to use whatever sky model (or even measured data) that you want. It is the weather processing component (Type15, Type99, or Type16 in Trnsys17, Type15, Type109, of Type16 in Trnsys16) that allows you to set the diffuse sky radiation calculation method. You can select between an isotropic sky model or 4 different anisotropic sky models (Hay and Davies, Reindl, Perez 1988, or Perez 1999)
Kind regards,
 David

Dear all,

What is the computational method of the total radiation on tilted surface incidented external wall and window etc in TYPE56 ?
Is the anisotropic model used ?
