Re: [TRNSYS-users] Difficulties of making a Trnsys project

Marios,

Please look at some of the existing examples that contain buildings. You may open the project files (*.tpf) from the TRNSYS Simulation Studio

The following building example is in "ideal" energy rate control and has climate data from Stuttgart via Type15 Weater Reader and Radiation Processor. If you right-click on the Type56 building in the Simulation Studio, it will open the building information file (*.bui or *.b17) in TRNBuild, the interface for building information in TRNSYS.
.\Examples\Restaurant\Restaurant.tpf

Another example that has the building in temperature level control with controls and conditioning equipment (oppose to "ideal" equipment) is the following.
\Examples\HVAC-building\SunSpace-externalAirConditioning.tpf

I recommend getting very familiar with these examples before you venture to your own buildings.

Best regards,
Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Difficulties of making a Trnsys project

hello everyone ,

Its my first time using the Trnsys software (trying to simulate a building
and calculating the heat loads)  and i am having some difficulties
such as :
1) how do i define the doors  (either external or internal )?
2) how do i import the climate data ?
3) does the project runs directly using TRNBuild or do i have to use also Trnsys
Simulation Studio or TRNEdit .?

Thanks in advance
Kind regards,
Marios
