i´ve downloaded from the official website of TRNSYS a type http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/trnlib/library16.htm
in particular Type210 NODE (i think very interesting when i can use it).
i´ve created the dll file because it was not included.
and i´ve put the files in the folders as follows:
Trnsys16_1\Studio\Proformas the Type210.tmf file.
Trnsys16_1\Studio\Icon the Type210.bmp file
Trnsys16_1\UserLib\DebugDLLs the Type210.dll file
Trnsys16_1\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs the Type210.dll file
and Trnsys16_1\SourceCode\Types the Type210.f90 file (and browse from the Proforma editor - Files, the Source Code File Type210.f90)
but i always get the following error:
TRNSYS Message 105 : A TYPE was called in the TRNSYS input file but was either not linked into trndll.dll or was not found in an external dll. A dummy subroutine was called in its place. Please link the TYPE or remove it from the input file Reported information : Not available
Did i miss Something?
What i´m doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

If you look through them, you'll notice that some of the early ones tell you which directory the TRNDll is being loaded from, which directory is expected to contain additional DLLs, which DLLs were found and which ones actually contained Types that were in the simulation. Those NOTICES should give you an idea what the problem is. For example, if you see a notice that says "Type210.dll was found but did not contain any Types from the simulation" then the problem is in how the name of Type210 is exported (at the beginning of your code there must be a line that says: !DEC$Attributes DLLexport :: Type210 if the notices do not mention that a file called Type210.dll was found then there is a directory problem. If you aren't able to figure it out, please send me the *.log file that is being created when you run your simulation and I'll try to help. Dear TRNSYS users,
here is an important note from the OpenStudio community
that also affects Trnsys3d.
Please update your Google Sketchup 8
version!
Christian
When SketchUp 8 came out there was a bug that affected the push pull tool when you typed in a number for a distance vs. using the mouse. That has now been fixed and can be manually downloaded or updated by using SketchUp’s “Check for Update” item under the help menu. You will be able to update or install right on top of the original SketchUp 8, and all of your plugins including OpenStudio will remain intact and ready to use.
For reference, here is a description of the problem that has been addressed. Once you upgrade your version of SketchUp you no longer have to use these work arounds. “Using push/pull to extrude a surface loses a vertex from new surfaces when entering the extrude distance in the measurement box. People with this bug see missing vertices from surfaces when reopening the .idf file. To avoid this issue before SketchUp is updated, enter guidelines or use other geometry to snap to instead of typing an extrude distance. Another alternative is to create and extrude your geometry outside of an EnergyPlus zone, then cut the geometry and paste in place from inside of your zone object. If you have SketchUp 7 installed, you can also use that until a SketchUp 8 maintenance release comes out.”
