[TRNSYS-users] QHEAT & TYPE 46

 Dear all.

I have some questions about QHEAT and TYPE 46 as follows:

To QHEAT: I set the indoor temperature as 20°C in heating type, the Heating Power limited is 4024.8 kJ/hr (1.118 kW), the initial indoor temperature is 20°C. I used the Integrator Type 46 to get the sum QHEAT of 24 hours: 12707.7 kJ. I.E. The working power is only 147 W. Please tell me what's meaning of limited Heating Power? Is it the MAX. Power or not? How does the QHEAT work and get the result of Heating Demand?

But I calculated by hand, the result is 96595.2 kJ. Why the difference is so great! How does the Integrator get the result?  Or how to calculate the sum of QHEAT in 24 hours by hand? whether my result is wrong?

To TYPE 46: How to set the Parameter of it: Printing & integrating interval? I want to get the sum of One Hour and 24 Hours etc.

   Many thanks!

BR.

Hi,

that's a known problem in the RESTORE_STATE function that won't affect the functions of Trnsys3d so just ignore this message.
In the next version this function that causes the message will be turned off.

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] error when opening sketchup

Hi,

I am using the TRNSYS 3d plugin for SketchUp V7. I have v8 but the plugin doesn’t seem to attach to v8 (is this correct? Is there a plugin for v8). Whenever I open sketch up I get the following error:

Sorry... the plugin has encountered an error. This error may cause unpredictable behavior in the plugin continue this session with caution! It would probably be a good idea to exit SketchUp  and start again. (unfortunately this happens everytime I open sketchup)

For help please contact...

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type 40 Micro-Processor
Hello everybody,

I am trying to set up a solar system including a heatpump. For controlling
reasons I am planning to implement Type 40 Microprocessor.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with this type and I do not really have a clue
how to work with this component. Does anyone have a good discription of that
type beside the "Mathematical Reference" where I can find further information?

I am very thankful for any kind of help concerning Type 40 that gives me a
chance to understand how to work with this Microprocessor.

Yours sincerely,

Felix

Hello, David.

Thank you for your reply, but do you mean that the simulation does not start at
the first component as indicated in the input file?  Moreover, does the error
only occur for the wrong equations within the same equation proforma?

Dear Felix,

I have used Type 40 to control a simple heatpumping application.
Have a look in table 1 of my documentation, perhaps it helps to understand
the parameterization
of Type 40. In the studio file (version 16) you can see Type 40 as heatpump
controller.

Best regards,
Arno
