[TRNSYS-users] B4_QBAL, Ideal Heating in TRNBuild, To QALFL(NTYPE 59) and To the internal Gains

Dear all,

I have some questons to ask:

To B4_QBAL: 1.  the sum of B4_QBAL is closed to 0 in one day or at any time?

 2. But my B4_QBAL isn't closed to 0 at any time and all one day. Please see the first ATTACHED. Do you mean if not closed to 0, I can set Control Cards-> Tolerance Convergence as lower? But I set it as 0.001, B4_QBAL still like the ATTACHED not closed to 0. Please tell me how to make it?

To  CO2%: Why there are different CO2% in one same zone only using Ideal Heating or only using Floor Heating when all the other parameters are the same such as the same windows sizes and opening factor and so on? Please see the two results of CO2% ( the second and third ATTACHED)

To Ideal Heating in TRNBuild: 1. Which type it is? Radiator or Air-conditioning or both of them or others?

2. Wheather the ideal heating's total heat demand is larger than the Floor heating under the same conditons or not?

3. When only using Heating in TRNBuild, can I only compute the sum of QHEAT as the total heating energy demand in one zone? Or other way to compute?

To QALFL(NTYPE 59): I used winter data and heated up the floor heating, but the sum of QALFL is minus, is it right? Please explain in detail.

To the internal Gains:  The indoor set-point temperature is 21°C in one zone, but the actual temperature controlled by PID controller is higher than 21°C when plus internal Gains in TRNBuild such as Person and Computers. How to deal with this problem? And why the PID controller doesn't work at this time?

Many thanks!

Br.

Dear TRNSYS users!

Does anyone of You know any possibility to get a gbXML-file into TRNSYS?
(Non commercial solution would be preferred).

Thank You for Your help!

With kind regards,

Hi Kerksen,

I only know about a commercial solution (and it may not be useful outside France): the tool ClimaWin can import gbXML and export projects to Trnsys (via http://nbdm.org). People use this in France to simplify the transfer of projects between design tools (TRNSYS) and building code software (ClimaWin).

I’m afraid it only exists in French. More info: http://www.bbs-slama.com/
