Re: [TRNSYS-users] Incident radiation

Luis,
There are a lot of factors that could be contributing (different wall material properties between the simulated and "real" wall, different solar absorption coefficient for the wall, different convection/radiation split, etc.) I would also recommend that you read in the Type56 manual about how it treats radiation gains to a surface and what wavelengths are included.
Regards,
 David

Dear Trnsys Users,

I try to simulate the heating that a lamps panel provides to a wall. In order to do that, I measure both the incident radiation that arrives to the wall and its temperature. However, after giving TRNSYS the measured radiation value, the wall temperature I get in the simulation is sensible lower than in the real wall. Any help about this?

Thanks in advance
