Re: [TRNSYS-users] sketch up 3D

There isn't an automated way of converting a SketchUp drawing to a TRNSYS 3d representation. I have seen people use the "copy" feature in SketchUp followed by a "paste" into Trnsys3D. Keep in mind, however, that you do not want to copy over the thicknesses of walls; only the wire frame model of your building.

Hi,

I have some sketch up files. I had draw some buildings with Google Sketc Up. I want to use them in TRNSYS. Is there any way to use these files as a 3D file or convert to 3D zone in sketch up?

Thanks.
