Dear Geoffrey,
the modell looks like that you started drawing based on a
GOOGLE SKETCHUP model and then build up the Trnsys3d zones.
I made the experience that this can cause a lot of problems
like walls are disappearing, two walls are appearing at the same place, if I
erase a wall
and reload the drawing then there's still the wall existing,
etc........
So in order to avoid these problems I made the experience that
after I built up the modell in the combined model (SKP and IDF) I have to copy
the whole idf geometry out of the zones
to a new SKETCHUP drawing and to redefine the zones
like:
1) Basis Sketchup geometry
2) Redraw the skp geometry in an idf zone
3)
Copy the geomtry inside a zone
4)
Open in parallel another Sketchup and insert a Zone
5)
Paste in Place the geometry
That's
it.
Then
to stop the error message while opening GOOGLE SKETCHUP you have to deactivate
the Trnsys3d Plugin by the menu Window - > Preferences
Restart GOOGLE SKETCHUP and reactivate Trnsys3d.
Regards
Christian

Dear trnsys users I encounter the following problem when using
trnssolar 3D plugin for sketchup: When I try to reopen a .idf fil build the
previous days, many surfaces appears to be badly
interpreted. The figure attached shows the
problem. I got the following error
