[TRNSYS-users] Weather Data Format

Dear all,

I have a question about the Weather Data:

My Weather Data is EXCEL file, and some data in some days of last year missed. How to add them into TRNSYS? How to deal with the missed Data? I saw the Manual of Chapter 4.14, but I didn't find out it about the missed data and how to add into my Weather Data of EXCEL file in detail. Please tell me the detailed steps or some Examples about it.

Many thanks!

Br.

Dear Benoit.

Types 200 - 299 are reserved for user-written components. Types151-199 are reserved for the TRNSYS standard library. You will notice that some of the electrical and hydrogen components use those numbers.

Yes, if you would like to create improvements for types (addition of parameters, inputs, or outputs), it will indeed require a new component.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Different versions of the same type ?

Dear Trnsys users,

Creating new components, I would like to define successive versions of the same type.
Keeping old versions of a type can be useful for compatibility with old projects.
Improving a type (for a same physical equipment) can lead to additions of inputs, outputs and parameters or modifications in the results.

The only solution I can see is to create different components, with different type numbers but I will be very quickly limited.
As far as I know, only 50 numbers are reserved for the user written components (Type151 to 200).

Is there any other solution ?

Best regards
