Re: [TRNSYS-users] questions about Trnflow

Hi,

It is just a warning. You define two different heights for an airnode: TO-height and FROM height. These two are in your case not equal, so trnflow treats it as a vertical shaft (to overcome the distance). If this is what you want, you can ignore the message. If this isn’t what you want (you’ve got an horizontal link) then you should check the to and from heights. See picture below (from trnflow manual)

Kind regards,

Mariëlle

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS Window Library
I'm putting together a TRNSYS model for research on ventilation and
dehumidification. We have identified the windows we will use in terms of
SHGC and U-value, which of course isn't enough as inputs to Type56.  The library bundled with TRNSYS does not have windows reflecting what we see in residential buildings.

I expect others have run into the same problem.  Does anyone have window inputs that fit any of the following examples?

U-value (IP)   SHGC
0.4             0.4, 0.35, 0.3
0.35            0.4, 0.35, 0.3
0.3             0.4, 0.35, 0.3, 0.25
0.25            0.35, 0.3, 0.25

Thank you,
Daniel
