Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS-users Digest, Vol 68, Issue 8

Dear all,

Ihave a question:
The Restaurant Trnflow Example doesn't RUN, it shows "Parameters for Trnflow are missing", then I checked it, obviously, all the Value of Trnflow is 0. Why is it like that? Did the TRNSYS Corporation not SET the Value or  the Parameters are missing after the installtion? Please explain in detail! thanks!

Hello,

Does anyone know how can I have one iteration per timestep within Type 56? I need to insert something like: Tint(INFO(7)=0) = Tint(INFO(7)=1).

Is there a way to do this without changing the code of Type 56?

Thanks for any info.

Dear Marcello,

the window in the TESS lib isn't defined correctly.
I'm not sure if  TESS released a corrected version of the Library.
Maenwhile you can use the vitual window of the AMERICAN or GERMAN Library.
they should worl without a problem.

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Virtual window in TRNBUILD

Dear TRNSYS users,

I am trying to model a zone with an opened window in TRNSYS 16. For the thermal model, I use the type56 with a window of the type: "Virtual (open or nonexistent) Window" (WINID 1) from TESS Library.

Unfortunately, when I start the simulation, I get the following error:

"Une valeur négative ou supérieure à 1 a été trouvé pour l'absorption non visuelle W4_front pour la fenêtre no 1 : abs_nonvis = -.0008717874 à l'angle = 0"
(A value negative or greater than 1 was found for nonvisual absorption W4_front for Window-ID   1 : abs_nonvis = -.0008717874 at angle = 0)

I see that other people reported this problem in this forum, but I have not found any solution.

Do you know how to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance for your attention.

Best regards,

Marcello CACIOLO

Dear Pablo,

the 3D detailed radiation mode of TRNSYS 17 are restricted to convexe zones.
Therefore no "internal walls" blocking views are allowed to be defined.

You may split your zone into convex several convex zones or increase the capacity of the air node.

At the moment we are working on developing and incoorperating improved algorithms which can
handle concave zones.

Hello.

There’s no “internal wall” in “Constructions”  when I try to draw a building with Trnsys3d. I can’t add that walls inside Trnbuild 17, because I need to use the 3D Model.

¿Somebody knows how can I model these types of walls and, at the same time, model with Trnsys 3D?

Thanks to all.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] TRNFlow and COMIS stand-alone version
Dear Wang,

TRNFlow is an integrated version of COMIS into Type 56.
If you want use TRNbuild/TRNFlow you need to define your airflow network within TRNBuild.
Within the Studio create a multizone building project. You don't need a COMIS version at all.

For using the stand-alone version of COMIS in TRNSYS, the option create "COMIS project" of the Studio can be used.
