Re: [TRNSYS-users] weather data - zenith angle

David,

Thank you for your answer.

Is it possible to have the calculations done by both components? Why do they give different values?

I’m using TRNSYS 16.

Regards

Charles

Charles,
The zenith angle is calculated by both components. My recommendation would be to use Type15, particularly if you are are working in Trnsys17.
Best,

Dear all,

I would like to know whether the “zenith angle” is read in a TM2 file, or calculated by the weather data processors (types 109 and 15).

When I read the output “zenith angle” of a weather data processor, I find different values when using type 109 or type 15.

Thanks for your help
